Blurb Wolf07 player model is a in a light combat suit and has a good, almost full range of fps animation. He has some derived friends

Detailed description

The Wolf07 model is player model, originally by gabriella with a good set of standard fps animations, and comes with a female variant and working set of md5. These work in RE with the following problems:
1. The model throws with it's left hand
2. left/right turning of legs doesn't work
3. The crouch forward animation is not done.

The models have been developed for the human (or almost so) characters in MekArcade, which you can read about at the RE forums http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=4392&start=25#p46913 The misfit source files are there and also some vids of the models.

In addition Wolf has a few friends. See image for Zeta, a warrior clone from Z. reticularis, like most of it's race it has a penchant for cows and is quick with the anal probe. The other model pictured is a gold Mandroid. In the RE post you should also find links to a female version (Natalie) and the model with a wolfs helmet, called Anubis.

I've tried to install them, but I would have no idea how to. What about packaging it correctly at first?
Putting them at Red Eclipse/data/models/actors/ seems to fail, but that's the most similar folder to me...

What happens?

They are set up to replace directly the male & female models, so if you substitute them they should work. Wolf is set up as the male player and Zeta as female player, though 'it' should strictly be neuter. I downloaded this zip to test, and replaced the player models in a fresh install of RE and it worked fine. See this screenshot on an RE map and here on a sauer map.

They seem to fail if you put them in the C:\Documents\My Games\Red Eclipse\data\models\actors directory.
In Sauerbraten, this overrides the existing model.
Maybe I need to specify the playermodel by a certain command in RE?

I didn't know you could put player models in the Sauer My Games directory, and I don't think that works in RE. They are set up to work as replacements to the male/female models, and only have been used that way. I rename the original player folder in RE to playerx then put the player folder with wolf and zeta in as replacement. Seems to work.
