Stupid Question

Help and Support

This may sound like a stupid question. I have had Sauerbraten installed on my Ubuntu Linux box for what seems ages. I have noticed that the "Justice" version is available for download. So as not to be wasting time or effort, I need to know what version I am currently using. How can I find out?

check the docs that come with it to see which version they describe as latest.

If there's a crossbow, there's a good chance you have the CTF edition. Or maybe even something before that.

Look at the modified date of something in /data or the executable and compare with the dates on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sauerbraten/files/sauerbraten/).
