I was expecting more after your creating on CME, so I was pretty surprised with this.
Theme
The map doesn't seems to have a specific theme, just because there have been used textures all over each set (like techsoc, lunaran, gibbie, philipk, gor, etc). I'll explain this more at texturing.
Also, the layout isn't really showing a specific theme, for example space-like (think of shiny plates, jumppads, teleports, etc), castle-ish (think of broken walls, small corridors, etc), industrial (think of conveyor belts, steel frames and plates, etc), egyptic (think of piramids, deserts, dusty areas, etc) and so on. I'll explain this more at geometry.
Texturing
As I already stated, it's just 1 big mess of textures, which are most of the time random (as there have been used trimming textures on huge surfaces and light-textures as trimming textures (which isn't a bad thing, if they would contain a light-source). Take for example the "base29_d" texture of lunaran, which has been used on the arches. This means you should use a correct fitting texture on a specific part of the geometry.
Also, just stick to a few texture set (I would recommend something between lunaran, trak5 and philipk or even the custom texture pack from Yves Allaire,
eX. As your not that experienced mapper yet, I wouldn't recommend to add something like techsoc textures in it as they don't have any bump-, specular-, neither height-mapped textures and would kill the effect of those which do have that).
Geometry
The geometry isn't great at all. The map feels like if several shapes has been tried to combine together. It feels like if you've created each part separately and pasted into this map.
Detailing
There isn't much detail at all. And the detail existing, is at the other side either. I do like the idea of that transparent plate just next to the flags, but that's all detail the map has.
Lighting
Well, it seems this is the best part of the map. The caves seems to be lighted, but they actually aren't (as the texture is just giving that feeling).
I think the lighting isn't fitting the theme (which your stating that it should be industrial), as well as the skybox.
Clipping/Noclipping
The map seems to be clipping/noclipped fine, even the pool with toxical green coloured water aren't making sense at all.
Flow
The flow of the map, isn't great at all. Everytime you jump, you bump against something else. Take for example those caves were you bump your head against the ceiling or if you want to jump just right from the platform which the flags are positioned, on those box which contain glass. It is almost possible, but isn't 9except if you would use that small fence just next to the flag).
The map is just way too small, as getting the opponent's flag and score on your own base takes about 11 seconds without using any trickjumps (with trickjumps about 9 seconds).
Gameplay
As the flow isn't fine, the gameplay will suffer a lot because of that.
The placement of the pickups is very odd either, as it's unbalanced. There are 10 bullets, 14 riflerounds (!) spawning around the map, while there are only 8 shells, 6 grenades and 4 rockets spawning around the map. This would end into a match which the machinegun will be used often and that isn't a great thing (as it doesn't requires a lot of aim with such high amount of pickups).
Overall, this map isn't as great as the screenshot is showing. I'll rate 4/10 for it.
