you fail. the in game crosshair sucks.
i don't mean to criticize those who do use it, that's their decision... but if you can replace it with one that is thinner, better looking, or overall just better to use, then why not?
other games such as quake live give you the ability to select from a wide range of crosshairs. sauer does not offer that, so players create and distribute crosshairs so there is something else to use.

If you like the "in-game" (standard crosshair) that's perfectly fine, but just running around without giving any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, nor do think you know what this is even about, is just pointless.

Ok im clearly not understanding why you think that any NOOBIE does not have the particular cross hair they want. There are at least, 30 crosshairs in the list i gave you, and those were not all the quad content on crosshairs. ++++++++
enhanced asault and bloodfrontier have there own completely compatable crosshairs.

Point being that ever one has there own cross hair and if you dont like the current cross hair pick from one of the nodes i listed or pick from the many crosshairs in the various cubes, or if none of these are good enough then simply make your own. And if for some good damn bloody reason you want to your choice of many of the crosshairs that you downloaded then simply download the menu link i provided. As for noobs, they can download whatever crosshair they want on quad or simply make there own, we do not need to over bloat the download (not size but with useless space) with unnessary material.

PLEASE STOP YELLING AND SCREAMING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DONT KNOW. THERE ARE PLENTY OF THEM, PLEASE LOOK BEFOR YOU COMMENT.

Chasester, you doing nothing but trolling, your have made habit of making lengthly replies that are prone to spark others into argument with you.

By the looks of it your setting your own site rules, I myself partially agree but I don't think you should be taking such authority saying what people can or can not do. Perhaps you should take this up with the one hosting the site?
While your at it, look at the size of the file, it's 10Kb, how much bloating do you think that does? In terms of space it is one node, there are over 2600 nodes. What difference will ten nodes make if there are already over two thousand? especially if they are unique to each other. Perhaps you should say this on a map with 10mb of light-maps where the file IS hosted on this site, because that is bloating.
Go look through your list of crosshairs now and look at file sizes, almost all that are over 100K are hosted elsewhere.

I was not talking about the site, but rather the download, (cube release), i understand that each of the crosshair files are 32x32 images (4kb) so they take up hardly any space. Rather my point was that the admins (or who ever makes the decision on what gets in the release) did not see it fit to include any of the above nodes, (a couple comments up). These nodes (at least most of them) have been around for 2 releases or more. Point being that "The powers that be" did not see it fit include any extra crosshairs, or a crosshair menu. So my point to every one was that if they have a problem with the crosshair, or the amount of crosshairs, they should just download/make their own. I was not intending to act like i was an authority of what should or shouldnot be added to the release, rather just defending the admins choice not to include them.

I think you are dedicating far too much time posting here, Chasester. Half your replies barely fit the person your replying to. Perhaps YOU should go and make a cross hair pack or a map of some sort, you put such effort into criticizing that you should be able to do it perfectly!
