normaly its the way ...

gamedata/packages/your name...

and then you must in the map cfg write.

exec packages/yourname/package.cfg

in the packages.cfg you must write (in same folder with the texture) ;

texture 0 "yourname/texture.jpg

I suggest you read the packaging guide and the documentation, the wiki and CFG files of existing maps. There's no point in repeating all that stuff here, if you're unclear on specifics you'll get much better/faster help on IRC - irc.quakenet.org #sauerbraten!

lux , i have PC (on linux) and thanks for your answer but : that i know, i know its need to be in the packages foldar but - i wonna know how to INSTALL it (i think the file to install them is in the data foldar , like mapmodels...)i mean wich file/doucoment paste the the "textures lockation" to install it into the game and edit with them ...

You need to set your Sauerbraten to make server. Some lines of code - and you'll have your own server. Read "Command Line Options" at http://sauerbraten.org/docs/config.html

Put it to config.cfg. You also can put there servers commands like maxclients and etc.
If you want to start server, just click on Sauerbraten icon. It will look like DOS with black window only.
