Heh - indeed.

I like this map; it's layout reminds me of a couple of good capture maps from other games - but it seems pretty well adapted to sauerbraten.
Nicely distributed bases ... heh, that one up near the top is gonna be a bugger to capture/defend during 8+ player matches, I'd say :-) :-) ... oh, maybe you should delete single minimaly-sized cubes of clip at places such as the cliff overhang between those two lips where one can jump across ... or at that small sniper turret at the back ... the clip as it is sometimes feels like bouncing off air :-P

As always with Capture maps I need to test-play this to pass final judgement!

Anyway, there are quite a number of geometry bugs (cubes that don't fit seamlessly);
I'm not talking about grass/earth-terrain geometry, but e.g. on the wall in that one corridor with the lamp model hanging in it, but there are more such places!
Oh ... and I just had to fix up your ZIP - you don't need to include the Sauebraten folder itself ... and I renamed your files to lowercase ... ;-)

I myself have noticed several geometry errors in the map but and have already fixed heaps of them. Thanks for telling me where one was. I not sure I understand what your talking about with the clip. I surrounded the whole map in clip to stop players jumping out.
How do you test play maps and have you managed to get to the very top of the map? (without using edit mode)

yes, I've managed to get everywhere I tried ...
but it could be easier with more detailing in clip/air/geometry transitions!

In the current archive the map file is corrupted. Could you please fix it?

The map looks good, very nice terrain work. :)

About the flag that's on the hill with the lone arch, perhaps it needs a jumppad going to it. There's only two ways to get to it. One is rather difficult and it's difficulty is multiplied by the fact that the enemy can see you coming and shoot at you while trying to make the jumps. So in the end there's really only one feasible way to get to it.

The way the outdoor lighting is done bothers me. :P Perhaps you should try using 'skylight', something like so: http://www.snieb.com/relic.zip
