I hope you could change the name of this map, since there is a "castle" map in Cube's distribution, and I also have one "castle" map from someone else.
In addition, you must read the manual. Learn how to use "F" key. (short tip: to make walls and columns, DON'T simply raise the floor, but make them "solid" using the "F" key)
This is a very simple map that does not remember a castle for me. It is a big platform in center, water "corridors" at sides, one little "secret" place, and nothing more.
Quad is at center, near a player spawn point, and exact at same place of an teledest. Shouldn't the quads be difficult to get?
This is a very simple map, but has an incredible high WQD count. This occurs because lack of occuling walls (fixed by properly using "F" key) and because some walls that are split in smaller cubes (the visible part of the wall has one texture, and other parts - behind the wall - have another texture). [note: can anyone confirm if this is true?)
The teledest to the secret place leaves me facing to wall (or facing to nothing). It should make me face to somewhere useful.
Hum... I think you forgot to place any player start positions, huh?
I've fixed myself the "solid walls" and some of "behind wall textures". The WQD count dropped from 7500 to 4500. Maybe it can be dropped more if some of the walls and columns were better aligned to grid. Maybe not.
