you can't make your own particles without modding the source

Yeah, that's a new particle effect. Try MeatROme's GUI (WIP) here.

I wanted to write this yesterday, but my connection was a bit crappy.
Have a look at the readme in your sauer folder.(Editing Reference->7.Entity Types/"particles")
There you'll see a list. I think that should help you and halo.

MeatROmes Gui is really good for the colors, but not so good for the types, because there are some mistakes in it. I changed it a bit and sent it to him. I hope he'll upload it soon. In that version(the one i updated) shouldn't be a mistake and you know where the particle is pointing at. In the version which is online now, you can only choose some numbers.

I would say, have a look at the readme, then play around a bit with these particles and if you want to make them colored use the gui. If you're lazy, use the gui, but then you can't choose all directions.
I don't want to say the Gui of MearROme is bad, it's really good, but still WiP :)

He's re-uploaded the script with your modifications. I think I'll get it again, see how much better it works.
