Detailed description

To play this map will require a fast computer and a good video card. I promise I won't do this again for a long time.

See if you can find the "You Win" sign. For extra challenge, jump in each of the 4 surrounding teleporters and find your way back (without jumping in another teleporter right off :P).

And no, I'm not going to select 'Multiplayer' because it's not a multiplayer map. Not unless you add umpteen playerstarts and have 40 people running around in it.

I love it. well... I hate it; it makes me want to puke, but it's very interesting.

Some questions:
How much of this is generated, and how much is done by hand? Can you upload us some unedited generated maps so we can so what your generator can do? What are your goals with this generator? Are you trying to get it to generate decent looking maps or is this blocky shit all we can expect?

Go download it and see for yourself. All I added was lights and a few tunnels. You can program it to generate anything you like. I happen to like the "blocky shit", so don't dis it. Although I admit that the caves in this map get a bit boring after the novelty of the rediculous scale of the thing wears off. This level was really meant as a tech demo.

I got Hall Of Mirrors in this map, just near to startpoint. Interesting, this happens only when not in edit mode. Is my sauerbraten binary bad? Play-mode Edit-mode

It's just a bug in the latest Sauerbraten. When the sky is too far away it simply doesn't draw it, unlike older versions (and edit mode), where it simply draws the skybox everywhere. This cuts down on sky shining through corners, but for now it also makes the HOM bug. Personally, I'd rather it was like the old days when you just saw fog up there.

please don't post "not sp or mp" maps as sp maps. Its a pain in the ass to ppl who are looking for a good sp map (they are rare enough as it is).

(i searched it for monsters for about 2 hours scince in the cube community, "singleplayer" means "it has monsters and u shoot them")

It's a single player map. A rather experimental one at that. Deal with it. Though you do bring up a good point. Perhaps there should be a new category - single player maps that will not be appreciated by the majority of cube users who seem to be 8 year olds with ADD and can't be bothered to use punctuation or spell "since" (or "TOGoS", for that matter) correctly.

The author clearly states that it's a single-player map. If you think it's a bad single player map, you're free to use the *s to rate it as such.

If you only want SP maps for Cube, then use:

Cube Singleplayer

I don't think Sauer can even do conventional SP maps (not DMSP) anyways yet, so if you're looking for classic SP maps, just use the above. It helps to learn to use the Taxonomy Browser (the browse link at the top) - it takes a lot of finicking and ctrl-clicking to get the materials you're looking for, but it works.

sauer can do proper SP maps, just look at the stsp1 and sp2 maps that come with sauer.

and would u stop saying SP is maturbation, i prefer singleplayer anyways
