You should facet (unweld) it, otherwise it´s not really a crystal.
Also, if you only use one half of the image anyways, why not stretch the uv´s x2 on the width and use a 128x256 ?

Would love to see this get into the next release of Sauer...
would be very useable on my single player maps and for RPG style maps as well.

That's pretty cool. I could use it as another light source for a new map I'm working on. Can you maybe tell me where to put it in my Sauerbrten folder?

i dont know where i have to put it into my sauerbraten-folder. And i dont know how to load it in the sauerbraten editor.

... inside packages/models/ ?!?!
... via your map.cfg and a call to mmodel, maybe even mapmodelreset
... like look at data/default_map_models.cfg - then load it like any other model, with correct index of course ...

do not expect it to show up in the menu though - that's not dynamic, it's purely hardcoded in data/menus.cfg.

Seriously - you should take a look at any and all cfg's you can put your hands on if you want to get the most out of sauerbraten mapping ... and of course always keep reading and re-reading the documentation, wiki and forum :)

I agree with June that it would be great for SP and RPG maps.

Maybe it could be a map model of an item for an rpg like a crystal you can mine and sell for coins!
