I´m on Windows XP Home, can´t even unpack because of invalid path "packages:base".
I gave you one star, but I´ll change that once you upload working zip and get to try this map.

Ok, first about the package:
Zip works now, BUT there is this __MACOSX-folder and .DS_Store-which should be removed AND you should actually make the filepath right so that user could just unpack the whole package into Sauerbraten folder.

I right away saw where you got the name for your map. I like the layout and lightning, distribution of ammo and items are ok. Architechture is a thing I didn´t like, it´s somewhat too simple.. And I think you could have used more than just one same texture for walls, ceiling and floor :D, so texturing is a bit dull. That kill-box was funny, but having four of those? :P

Interesting map I got to say, though it has it´s flaws

i know about the flaws, but built it rather for fun than for beauty. thats why i chose just few textures (lower loading-time) and the simple easy-to-memorize architecture: you'll always know where you are and which base is taken and can concentrate on the gameplay and fights from the very first second... but yeah this makes it little "boring", but i think not really. as far as we've tested its real fun with lots of people. thats what it is designed for.

just had a look at your map, i downloaded it already 2 weeks ago, but just had a closer look right now, so i still consider it as an update, since we were playing this map already once online. ;)

It´s a great fun map, no question. The waterwall is awesome, it even is big fun in insta, so i could give you a clear 5/5 for gameplay already. So you already reached your goal with this map, cos i know you built it for fun ;)

Ok, about the layout, texturing and lighting i can say, it is very basic and simple, although i like the layout, you have enough space to move, can decide where to go and always have a good overview on the whole map, which makes it even more tactical.

So, in fun and gameplay aspects you really did a good job here, congratulations ;)

One hint: Due to the geometrical symmetry it surely would be nice to have 4 different mapping styles in the edges, or different lighting, textures, what do you think ?
