Blurb fy_pool_day from counter strike is playable now on action cube, 2 cloakrooms and between a swimmingpool...

Detailed description

BEFORE ALL: This map was here before Ri_pool_day, this is just the new version of my old fy_pool_day...
I deleted all bug there were! this is a perfect fy_pool_day now!

these copies are pretty well made, even if you coudl make your own textures for them. But imo, the aim and fy maps arent good for actioncube, if you could remake a bigger map like de_inferno( maybye a simplier version without the little sandbox and simplier houses (i mean indoors, without multi stooring and soo on) , but im not sure if you are allowed to copy any cs maps at all, for your own best you should ask someone who knows :)
Btw which program d you use too make those screenshots? ;)

I think my CS maps is cool for AC, because it's very fast!!! a lot of person like it ^^ but i wanna do better CS map like de_dust or aztec... but the problems are: How do my own textures? and ho do a bridge with arches and slopes? if you say it to me i'm ok for do BIG and good CS map, CYA guys :) enjoy

you can make your own textures in a painting program or take a photo :)
You cant make a mapmodel with arches and slopes so thats impossible.
On the other cuestions i tell you this: Look in the cfg file of ac_complex and you will find that makke have changed skybox texture and water texture :)

There are special heightmaps in cube to do arches, but don't ask me about it ... been too long since I did them ... RTFM
Whyever shouldn't he be able to do a model of them though?
I'm currently unsure wether Cube allows for models to have no bounding-box (means you can walk through them) ... but if so, there shouldn't be a problem; if not, you'd just be able to use it as backdrop scenery ...

I forgot 2 questions about mapping!!! lol
- Can I change the skybox? because in ac_fles there are differents skybox... if yes, how?
- I saw on ac_complex when you are in edit mode and you write /waterlevel xx , you got a green water; no blue water like in other maps, you got the same water like in aztect (in CS), can you help me for choose water?lol

The first picture is what a cfg file looks like. To create one open any kind of text editer and select file save. After you have typed in what you want it to be named type .cfg
Ex: Lets say you level is name Arena. You would type: Arena.cfg then click save

The second picture is what is contained in the cfg file. Make sure to type this before saving. It is a path to tell your computer where to look for the sky box. The path varies depending on which one you want.

Thats the best i can do in the way of teaching. I hope it helped.

1. I'm also on pc but that doesn't matter at all in this case.
2. They're just icons...
3. Make your own, right click->new->text document then save it as yourmapname.cfg
4. what? are you talking about the second screenshot? that's the folder name "blindabuser" and the name of skybox "blindasky"
