Seems like a nice map at first sight. Also after loading, it wasn't disappointing.
The general look of the map stands out to be oldskool medieval. I like that for my taste.
When moving around and stepping from carpet to carpet, it all feels pretty natural and straight forward. I did bump against stone blocks and trims, but I take that as granted for not knowing the map well. The more I walked around, the more intentions of all geometry were clear.
Of course, there are certain points which could be improved.
The atmosphere feels pretty good so far, but I feel missing some contrast. This is probably due to the grey texturing which blends the areas in open air (while those corridors inside lighted by torches and so feel just fine). So some
I'm not a huge fan of upscaling ik2k-textures in such scenery (especially on the floor), but it kind of works though. Perhaps it could use some different texture at certain areas to spice it up.
I miss some debris throughout the map. Everything feels too perfect. There's nothing broken, neither under construction.
There could be added some textureblending on open areas to show off some dirt. Make the scene more believable to be old and not that well maintained.
There are no sounds so far. It could use some to give it a better experience.
You can't properly see which side you are on. This feels like kind of just simple copy-paste work.
So in layout and gameplay, I think its ready to rock. But for the eye, it isn't convincing just yet.
