Try to put as much effort in the mapping as you do in modeling and seriously listen to advices given on your previous maps. If you achieve that; some original and good flowing and playing map may be constructed.
Perhaps this Flow and Layout Guide is pretty useful towards that.

I honestly didn't even want to redo them, specially Ironsnout's. Mainly because the polycount would be significantly lower.

Having a lower polycount would actually be a good thing for the performance.

But would be a slap in the face considering how long it took me to build those older hudguns (especially Ironsnout's).

but having an incredibly higher polycount, along with a good design and fucking high-res textures would actually be a good thing for throwing the game in to the future and maybe having even me downloadin them. maybe.

give us something new, give us high-end models.
Personally I'd go for an almost naked girl. sauer always lacked a bit speakin' about fanservice.
For the weapon design I'd take a look at District 9

[District Nyne? waddafuc? If I had such a nickname I'd do something for it!]

I'd love to do more high-end models, but unfortunately I have to keep the polycount relatively low because my animating software skews vertices after models reach a certain limit (you can see it in Inky's set, especially with the rifle). Basically if I did do high-poly models I'd have to use the animations that Geartrooper already did.

High end models rather means a,bigger frame rate of the animation than a bigger polycount. It's forgiven to have low poly models but a smooth animation than a high polycount but a choppy animation.

What's wrong with quality of he current? It seems just right enough to me as you can't expect the quality of a commercial game on a free person shooter which even happens to be using "Cube Engine 2".

It's none of your buisness what I can or I can't expect. I do aim and claim a higher level in everything. I just don't have the skills to do it myself. I can help with the website, he can help with models. Why shouldn't he try to do better and better while I do it with my job.
I think everyone should try to do better with his job, hobby, girlfriend, whatever.
