Detailed description

The reskins are complete and are finally here! These 4 reskins of Geartrooper's playermodels are straight from the community's suggestions! Enjoy!

Instructions: Simply download the zip file & extract it, then replace the existing playermodel folder (under sauerbraten/packages/models/) with the one you just extracted.
(in case problems occur [highly unlikely on windows], it is wise to copy the original playermodel folder to another location)

Well, all in all it's not that bad.

You know you can actually hide Cpt. Cannon's cape by assigning a skin to that mesh which only contains an alpha-channel? That would make him even more incognito.

P.S.
I doubt this is a Source mod =P.

I didn't hide the cape because it seemed more comedic; like how Clark Kent doesn't put on a mask or change his hair when he turns into Superman, & yet no one knows he's Superman (I'm generalizing, for you Comic fans feel free to correct me on that)

steampunk... Just gonna throw some google images at ya. Basically, steampunk is something modern (or futuristic) turned into something that looks likes an 1800's steam powered factory or something. It's usually rusted metal and uses a ton of gears and pipes. Here are a few examples:

UPDATE!
I've gotten better with the Normals & have produced a better normal for Mr. Fixit, you can download it HERE.
Just simply replace the original bodynorm.png under packages/models/mrfixit folder with this one.

(ONLY DOWNLOAD IF YOU'VE DOWNLOADED THE MR. FIXIT RESKIN!)

P.S. The Ironsnout reskin appears to be the most popular with 46 downloads so far, the rest haven't reached 10.

UPDATE: Link has been removed because the new Reskin contains a better Mr.Fixit normal.

Dude, I love the reskins! they are AWESOME!!! just like graphox..............but.........mr fix it is all yellow on my side, what could be the problem ? you know that graphic that says "no texture" or something like that, yeah it covers him up and shit but no skin lol just yellow.

This may just be a download error.
Check if all the following files are in the mrfixit folder:
body.png
bodyred.png
bodyblue.png
bodynorm.png
bodymask.png
head.png
headblue.png
headred.png
headnorm.png
headmask.png

If they're not, then just redownload the mrfixit folder.
If they are all there, then something's wrong with the md5.cfg

Oh wow those look awesome. Mr. fixit could do with a bit more collar IMO (that's just me though).

Gonna start using the predator one right away, looks brilliant.

Most likely. But there is only so much you can do to make 2d wrap-around camo look somewhat like real camo. (Besides, all camo generally lacks colour anyway)

I think what he ACTUALLY means, is that the texture should extend closer to his neck. As it stands now, it looks too much like he's wearing a latex suit. o.0

Basic texture error, is this neutral or teamskin?
EDIT: I've found a small error in the png format when I downloaded the zip. Don't know how that happened, but it should be fixed now as I've uploaded the newer Fixit skin. It's still the same, just better quality.

Whoopzie I had the filenames in caps in the CFG, try now.
EDIT: Ah crap, internet's being an ass right now. I'll just put the patch as attachment, it contains the fixed cfg files.

After installing the patch, the neutral model works; /teamskins 1 doesn't.

could not load packages/models/mrfixit/blue/mrfixit.md5mesh
could not find bone Weapon for tag tag_weapon
could not find bone Spine1 for anim part mask [Spine1]
could not find bone Spine1 to pitch
could not find bone Head to pitch

Internet's gone to shit, can't upload a fix right now.
I don't understand why it's not loading the model, the cfg specifies it, unless I got another damn upload glitch thanks to dial-up...
Did you replace the entire red/blue folder, or just the cfg?
Found a window, uploaded a new full zip. I forgot to set the directory for the teamskins. I need to find my head; it seems to be all over the place.
