I now have updated the first comment on the poll so you actually get a good explanation between the options and the actually tags of categories which the poll is referring to.

Well, that actually is a concern after this poll (if it turns out there shouldn't be added any more tags neither options, then we don't have to think about it do we?)

We cannot delete any of the categories, neither their options. As that would create a lot of uncategorized maps.

nono, you missunderstand me, i mean not delete the options to sort them, but not to show them in the headline.

So, any other specific place to put them then?

My best guess was to add a line of icons at the left instead (if we had any icons).

P.S. things i would maybe change before is the shadow behind the descriptiontext and maybe change the downloadlink to a button, but i only say that, because it looks almost perfect, so the small things matter ;D

well, it certainly isn't a bad idea, neither a bad look if you ask me. I still have to get used to it though.

I actually also like a way different layout, a bit like the one of lvlworld.

but that layout is really nice as well, although i think it de-emphasizes comments as they are in there own tab away from everything, but its most definitely something that the admins should look at. This website is stuck in the 90's ;p

i know there already was a design specific poll "keep the old one or make sth new", but you wont see much user-interaction with such a vague question.

i know finding good questions is sometimes a really hard task, so.. maybe it would be better to decrease the amount of polls. dont clamp at the "monthly poll" when you set up a serious poll every two months (in case you dont know a good question for a month) it will probably result in more user interaction.

now read the first passage again so this comment wont end with something you'll again understand as "insult" (its not! i understand that its a hard task.). make the next poll about whether keep the old design or bring chasester's one into action.

I rather have a different topic as monthly poll. People can react soon on a different node instead about the theming of quadropolis (rather on discussion forum).
I also rather stick to monthly polls as people have enough time to response (and give feedback if necessary), while we also have enough time to actually use the results which are gained for the previous poll(s).
