Public Service Announcement: help Eihrul to get a Oculus Rift (virtual reality) dev kit for Cube games

There was a post about this on the RE forum, but I decided to post this here because it's relevant to all Cube games.

I've never heard about Oculus until now, but it turns out they're developing a virtual reality headset, called the Oculus Rift.
I also found out that Lee Salzman, also known as Eihrul, entered into a competition for a free development kit of the Oculus Rift. So vote for him here, and we might one day be able to play Sauerbraten and other Cube games in virtual reality!

Seems like a great toy! If J. Carmack loves it, it has to be good. hehe

Fellow Warriors of Cube, today is a glorious day.

You may have heard about the contest for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. Well, now the results are in, and guess what?

WE WON!

So to all of you who voted, thank you!

The results won't come immediately, of course. Although Oculus is off to a good start, the Rift is still just starting out, and it's going to take some work to integrate support for the Rift into the engine. But I know that with an open-source community as strong as this one, anything is possible. We shall work together and make virtual reality in Cube games, well.. a real reality.
