I think I've heard that maps made in "a couple of hours" gets comments like:
"Maps made in a couple of hours can't be good"

Or something like that.

At least that's what I got on one of my maps.

Yes, a couple of hours is not enough. Good maps take far longer than that.

And yes its obvious here. These maps are not.. maps. In reality I'm not sure what to call them. Both have one texture. The dash map is simply a crater and a huge amount of items.

The mountains map I actually admit has some effort with the mountain ranges, but with one texture, no buildings.. no real gameplay.. and thats about it.

No offense but this is 0/5. Nothing here to look at, and I know Cube Master that you can do better, your other maps are much much MUCH better than this one.

And thojoh370, please don't try to start more trouble. Don't post with a very provocative comment like that without making any comments on the map itself. Just because you got negative comments on all of the maps you've uploaded (we've already had the discussion on constructive criticism mate) does not mean you can hold some sort of vendetta against everyone.

Oh, and for future reference Cube Master, remember not to zip the map files in a folder inside the zip. As a result I could not extract the files into my base folder, I had to manually copy them out otherwise I would have had the .ogz files in a subdirectory of my base folder, which doesnt make much sense.

Dash is just the fun :) IMO, it would work on any gametype really well - especially for good players ;)

Mountains is a very nice map - IMO would be best for playing instagib matches - places to hide behind the mountains etc - just very good!

Thanks for putting these maps up.

And hey - maps of few hours may not be highest quality but they are the fun! And that is what the game is about, isn't it? :)

Maybe not good maps, but lovable maps ;)
