This can't be called a remake from the original Q3tourney6 as it was WAY different, in actually all aspects.
I'll save you the harsh comment by telling this:
Just observe the original q3tourney6 and think about the next couple of questions:
- What's so great about the map? If there's nothing great about it, then it's not worth to remake.
- Why is that certain point so great? Be sure the point you come up with has some sort of sense, else it still isn't worth to remake.
- Is it really that great to let it fit Sauerbraten's style of gameplay, flow, lighting and texturing? Quake 3 Arena and Sauerbraten are somehow similar, but it can be very tough to create a remake of a map, which still has the feeling like it's original has.
- Am I that experienced to realise a really good remake? This question should be asked every second you're remaking the map. If you realise your not, just drop it and keep it in mind for next year or so.
Don't create a remake which looks bad, that gives it's original a bad image.
