I'll try and re-set PhotoShop for the JPEG markers. Happened before and it took long to fix.

The map is real and works fine(also looks pretty good), but can you tell me more about the "completely converted, VIA in-game switching through AC and SB" part? How do you do that?

I had a quick match on it with bots, and even though its fairly small, it plays quite well.

I can't judge any differences between the "original" map as i have not played assault cube.

One thing i spotted that could be changed a bit is the skybox/roofing on the map. Especially on the parts of the map that you can climb onto a few walls, when you jump you will hit the ceiling. You should clip a higher area around the edge of the buildings/roof of the map so there is more freedom to jump around, without hitting an invisible ceiling ;p

It looks good though, pretty detailed and nice use of the blend brush.

PS a screenshot would be nice and encourage a few more people to try it out. Go into spectator and type '/hidehud 1' then take a screenshot.

Any (!) other program which can handle images can do the same: Paint.NET, Gimp, FaststoneImageViewer, XnView, jpgIlluminator, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, IrfanView, Picasa, Inkscape, KolourPaint, ... even pic upload services like tinypic.com can automatically resize an image!

Seriously, I find this quite astonishing, as in my world, anyone who could open a browser and download and install something like "Sauerbraten" should also be able to open a .jpg file and resize it...

I don't think you are looking hard enough.

Most any image editor can resize an image. It is not hard to type 'Free image editor' into Google to find one if you really don't have one that will.
