Console commands FTW :)

The particles menu i have is a must for fiddling around. changing colors using the commandline is not worth it.

I use the console so much I neglected the editing menus in my own project to the point of disrepair!

I've pretty much always used the console, which probably spurs from my editing of Cube back in the day (I first used the menus in cube then transitioned to console commands). The editing menus of my project are also in a state of neglect!

A GUI does nothing but slow me down. I'd rather just type in a command ( That I've already shortened ) than search the GUI for a button to do the same.

The only thing I use a gui for is the color sliders to get HEX values. I find that quite useful.

the only GUI i use is: F3 -> new entity -> F3 -> TYPE

I always use console, it keeps me remembering the commands so i don't forget them, and i can use them more quickly than i can with GUI's. like the master gui (claim master, set mastermode, ect) is too slow for me.

i also hate it when others rely of the GUI's for the commands, quite a few people i met online didn't know how to use the master commands without the use of the GUI, including how to kick/ban someone. -_-

A particle menu would be a very nice option, just because the colouring works way different than on other commands (unlike "skycolour", "watercolour", "texcolor"/"vcolor", etc it uses a pretty weird and unlogical set-up for colouring the particles).
I'm sure I would use it if it would exist (Or is there any in the official sauerbraten? If so, I haven't found it after all those years at least :S).

Console commands the only gui are F2 and F3 ones.

Especially i prefer to write the commands for ents, instead of using some king of gui.

Wrong question. I use none. Because I don't edit. But maybe I would if there was more GUI and less console (one can always switch to console once one has learned how to edit and wants to speed things up).
