Now, on to criticizing your work just for the amount of pleasure it gives me to crush the hopes and dreams of others >:)

I like the gui, and generally how the tabs are. Unusual for the background tabs to be non-existent, but not something new. Personally i'd like to see a version which features both fore and background tabs, with a difference in color.

On another note, it's amazing how huge the background image is. How could you create a 1 pixel image with a size of 2,79KB i wonder? A normal png of that size is 949 bytes, and a fixed one with no quality loss 117 bytes. One weird fact to brighten your day :P

Now, onto the font. As a matter of experience, i'd prefer that you used the default one the game has. Yours is too big proportionally to the default, which makes for longer sentences, bigger menus, bolder letters and offset elements. In a few words, it broke a lot of things. Also, you need to experiment with the variables in the config more since the icons are to small, and the server ones are pretty much really hard to see, since the difference between server modes are only a few pixels of color. I don't want to think how this would look on screens smaller than 1440x900, but i guess i did, since i'm writing this.

Second part of my critique.

In regards to your icons. You "probably" overlooked a minor issues with images containing alpha. Tricking the game into using fake jpg images is not hard, but there is small nitpick to that. Images with alpha are all the more visible when the default black square box shadow appears below when clicked. Sure, they're pretty and all, the shadow is only but a small problem, but i believe it makes the whole thing look bad. It's the reason i stopped creating icons in forms which would not justify the shadow below. Also, i discern jagged edges on your icons, which MEANS that you didn't apply anti-aliasing all that much. it doesn't matter all that much though.

Concerning the colors now, i believe a greater variation and subtle gradients would work miracles. Currently, the whole theme is blue, and that is tiresome and becomes hard to look at, especially in menus filled with options.

Regarding elements from your previous mod, i think you've been away from the game a bit too much. Because you totally forgot that, oh my!, sauer now has Hold modes, which need gray flags and blips. Lucky for you, i have updated these and fixed the items hud as well. if you need them, just give the word.

Last, i'll comment about your modifications to the ammo boxes. In their case, it would probably be better if you reworked the image and created a specular map to use from within the config of the model. that way the glow wouldn't look all that fake.

Now to the criticism, you're right bout the background pixel lol quess I forgot to save that one compressed lol
I might play around with the backgroundtabs a little, I'll check 1-2 styles to see how it works out ;)

About the font I was planning on creating my own anyways, create 100% of the content myself, so I believe that won't be an issue for long ;)

You're also right about the server icons, I thought I'd color code them since it states on the listing what status they're in anyways. Perhaps I should redo them ;)

About the "tricking into .jpg" well, I don't really know any other way it can be done ;) I also realised the part with the shadow, hence I went for a rather darker background color... Is there any way to solve this? The anti-aliasing part is true, there's a lot of pixel-art I used, I'll fix that :)

Color-variation, how would you solve that? I planned the theme to be sort of sci-fy blueish, if you have an idea on how to fit other colours in there shoot :D

Ammo boxes and Hud I'll have another look, as said they're from 2009, so I guess I'll update them for 2011 ;)

Its about time! I'm in love with this gui, my all time favorite! It sure did take you a while to get this done o.O Keeping each comment short and to the point.

I agree, I don't like the font all that much, but I still use the old hud icons.

Faking .jpg's I see? lol Its not hard to do as Raz said but I wouldn't recommend that you do so.

One thing you need to fix though is the pistol ammo box, its missing the gun that's supposed to be on the sides.

Other than that I give this a perfect 10/10 :D
