I must disagree completely with you here Blarget2. I've seen submissions to this site which make this idea seem genius in comparison. But your opinion is yours.

Anyone with a great deal of experience with Cube2 and using blend-maps and height-maps might be able to create something similar in a short amount of time, however, there are a great many potential mappers who don't have that experience and knowledge - yet - (Such as yourself at one time, Blarget2)

These look like great starting points for new mappers who aren't sure what to do with the great square horizon they are given. I must admit I've only looked at your screenshots, but I can see the potential and probably wouldn't have hesitated to download and study these when I was learning how to use this engine. Thank-you for giving back to the community even if it isn't always appreciated. ;)

I agree with Blarget2, and here's why, these are awful for any kind of map, its worse than tortuga and a few of the other maps. this is something anyone using Heightfield could do, with save a tad bit of smoothing. this is without a doubt mayhem, the worst idea since the 50000 zoom scripts. and honestly should be removed since no one on here if going to make a map off a crappy layout made by some random guy who can't make even a halfway decent layout, much less a map that is worth using for sauer.

this is one trick to help you know the difference between a noob and someone who isn't. a noob never finishes something, but makes a halfhearted pile of junk and sells it as if it is worth being used. (as an example, dig though your trash and make a pile and try to sell it to someone.)

I am really disappointed in you, your tone is cruel. These look neat to me. they might not be the most complicated thing you've seen, but they are starting points. almost like inspiration you can touch.

Skiing, you one to talk about heart, since you act like an @$$hole to me all the time. secondly, this might be wonderful for a few mounds added to a map, or for background, but you as well as i know that this is not good enough to base a map off of, it'd be worse than Caribbean, which by the way is just like the two left screenshots, and it is worthless. now like i said, its not quite useful, its like me posting 5000 zoom script mods on quad, pointless, and lack of skill.

I'm always surprised how many people out there who think to understand something of the subject but have never really proved it...
this is an nice idea which , in this point are you probably right sub, still could need an revise.
so pls keep workin on it, and maybe try make an more urban layout.
