Detailed description

A map based around toxic sludge we are still working on it and hope that you like what we have done so far.

Concept 9/10, execution 2/10.
Leaving factory yes, empty world no. Slime yes, lava no. Toxic yes, plants no. (They're not even rotated randomly...)
Also, turn on fullbright and analyze your texturing.
And: Make sure your textures are on the grid... Don't do things like the hex pattern on the square platform as so nicely demonstrated by the screenshot. (Or, see the gridpower 5 texture on the gridpower 2ish geometry behind the (only?!) playerstart.)
And: Filenames should be lower-case.

If I didn't have any projects I was already working on, I'd be tempted to make this into a complete map.

Also, find/create an image to replace the one from whatever stock image service you got that one from...

Thank for the feed back i have made a few changes on what you have said and re-uploaded the map. we have only started to create the map and mostly concentrated on the inside of the map.

The idea is not bad, but as SheeEttin wrote, the execution is... modest. The textures could be improved, you have an empty room somewhere under the map that makes absolutely no sense, you managed to cram 859 lights into a map as small as that one (with respective results), and to me it's still not clear if the player is really meant to go outside.

Sorry, but due to the lack of gameplay possibilities I consider this as an artistic map. For that, it just isn't good enough yet.
3/10, but there's a lot of things you can improve ;)

this map isnt even done for like 20%, even it already gots lights! just start over the map again and take this steps:
1. make sure the flow and gameplay are correct. dont forget to clip and noclip! be sure your already thinking about a theme!
2. start texturing (sometimes youll need to delete some clip again, but put it back again after your done with it!). make sure the textures fit the theme!
3. start lighting
4. begin with detailing
5. check all steps again to really make sure the map is something worth to put into a release of just on quadropolis.
6. advertise your map on a website like quadropolis.

(step 3 and 4 can be switched sometimes, thats not that big deal, as long as you keep flow and gameplay step 1 and texturing on step 2).

i hope this helped a bit...

This map is not yet completed and i know that it is not looking so flash at the moment, we where just giving you a bit of taste of what is to come.(releasing a newer version soon)
so please stop the negativity, we do not mind constructive advice and ideas.
