I strapped on my shocksuit and landed planetside. The perimeter was clear. I didn't know what to expect. I heard a noise outside and went to investigate. Shots fired! From there on it was the bloodiest battle I've witnessed to date. They came from the walls! They came from below! Above! I used every advantage I could find. I didn't think I'd make it out of there alive...

Great map. 4 stars. I didn't give it five because of the overuse of the main texture. But other than that it was alot of fun.

This is one mother of a map!

Even at low skill settings it's no picnic,
I've still got to make it through without being killed.

Great placement and usage of the monsters and I really like those little hiding places for shotgun ammo.

Sorry to say but my Sauerbraten won't play your MIDI,
maybe this is like Windows Sauerbraten won't play MP3's ...
I'm running on linux here.

Anyway : your package has the files in an SDS subdirectory, your readme tells people to move the files into packages/base - next time you could simply package it so that people simply extract it into their sauerbraten folder and everything would be fine.
This would also take care of the CFG problem - if people move the files (as you tell them to) the CFG will point to a non-existant MIDI file ... :-(
I've written a little "Guide" about packaging, just take a look at that.

Also - your explanation on how to run the map is a little complicated.
You don't seem to know about the "sp" alias!
/sp ogrowaystation
or even
/skill 10;sp ogrowaystation
will get you going straightaway - without all that funny business with the menu and stuff ;-)
This alias is defined in data/defaults.cfg and even does the mapcompletion stuff just like the basic "map" command!

I like it, great lightning effects and those things.

It is like a dungeon, you go there and here and don't find nothing, I really like it, too much monsters too, they were everywhere, in the roof, bellow one, left, right, everywhere, shoothing from the windows, man, I really like it.
I will wait for your next map. :)

This is a great map! U know, one of the things that a great map needs is the freedom to make a choice and choose where to go, not to just run down small corridors and blast monsters. Well thats what I think anyway. Great map!

This is a very fun map, but some of the lighting is absolutely horrid. For example, above the initial starting place, you have two lights, both with an intensity of 0, and another above an in front of the large building (with an intensity of 0). This effectively makes three suns, and because of the conflicting lights and their low placement, it creates some huge, ugly, yellow shadows, especially from the fence near the beginning.

PLEASE do something to make this work better!
