Seriously, what the f***??? For your information, not claiming that something is your work does NOT automatically make distributing it legal. For example, you wouldn't say that downloading "commercial" music via torrent is legal, right? Even though you don't say you created that.

I didn't download it, because 100something MB is a little big, but I bet there's something like a cc-by-sa in it (which means you CAN NOT release the entire package as cc-by!)

ok.... I should have been more clear earlier. I see what you mean, but I have already checked and none are copyrighted, most are under creative commons. Your example is also flawed. think about it. all of the mods i used are free, so it is not like i am depriving them of revenue, and since I am not selling my mod, I am not profiting off their work. as far as I know, that is perfectly legal. i read all the licences that are used by the other mods, and what I am doing is allowed. i have also changed the licensing of this mod to various to reflect the other releases.

as for the file size, yes, i'm sorry, but there really is no way to include all the changes made, unless you like spending several hours unpacking the files.

Copyright, fair-use, it is not all about making money from it or not.

You still don't get it. Creative Commons licenses all rely on copyright. They essentially are just a list of what you are allowed to do with the licensed work and under whcih conditions.
However, "various licenses" is fine now, I just hope you have included all the readme.txt's and license.txt's.

ok, I am glad you are satisfied, but you still are not understanding me. copyright, is when the owner has full control, and you must either pay them, or have their permission. Since there is a list of things i can do, not a dictator-like control, and this is one of them, I have not done anything wrong! i just hope you realize that I have tried to be as mindful as possible about copyright, and since no money is involved, it should not be this big of an issue. now please, no more comments about copyright!

sure. this is a mod which changes the appearance of sauerbraten, and includes some major changes in terms of options, such as a guns menu to change between solaris guns, and trooper guns, or the older cube guns. the reason this is called "cold war" is because most of the skins for game objects were changed to make the two teams, red and blue, into green and red. this became the u.s. vs. the u.s.s.r. this references the cold war where the americans and the soviets were pretty much ready to blow each other up.

Funny how someone undergoes all that hassle of making a broken mod that cannot be fixed seem like it actually works, without ever noticing the date it was posted, and the fact that it may just be incompatible for whatever reason.
