very short question: how to add 4 playermodels? It says that it is an invalid range.

There are only an x (i think it is 0-3) playermodels allowed. The script will not let you. If you dig through the scr and recomplile the code you could create as many as you want, but you would be the only one to be able to see this model, and im not sure but it may create an error if you try to play online, but problely not.

If you want you can override one of the existing pmodels(playermodels). Then you could upload this model on quad so that others can use these models too. Remember: when you make a new pmodel you need to make 3 types (green red and blue) one for each type that already exist in cube. this should be a simple changing of the skins on the pmodels.

in trooper edition, there are only 3 playermodels allowed (from 0 to 2), just because there are only 3 playermodels in the release.
if there would be any more then 3 allowed, the game would crash because it couldnt load any animations, skins, meshes, etc.
this would happen if /playermodel would been set to >3 so like 4.

note : there are 5 max. in SVN because Captain Cannon and Inky were added. Take a look to the source code and game_fps.cfg in data/

please ready my comment again, there are 3 in the official release at this moment because the current release is the trooper edition, not the edition thats coming (a svn version isnt downloadable on sauerbraten.org so you cant call that official).
even tough if you would try to mod the sourcecode of an svn version that uses 5 playermodels, then its just counts from 0 to 4. any number higher then 4 wont get taken just because its the same story like i said in my previous comment...

Note: As far as i know the game won't crash when it tries to load a model that is beyond the currents. When the svn was still compatible with trooper, others would see Inky and CC as a normal IS or Fixit.

delete all the files of mrfixit, start up sauer and load a game (like insta ot, for example) the game wont take it very well :P.

edit: tried it for some several times, and the game suddenly isnt crashing anymore :S?

how did i managed to let it crash before -.-?

but ok, then it wont crash. still, 3 playermodels are in official release at this moment :P.
