ok id like to comment on these model packs that are comming out by LUX....
i will start by saying good work... ive notice over this period of time that your models have had a drastic improvement... this is imparitive to see that some day you may come out with some sovern and worthy content
for as of now... things such as ducks and fish and snakes... are completely noob... here in the cube engine we try ... although sometimes fail epically.... to keep a standard of excelence and of realism ... the these model packs defidently lack the realism aspect of this standard... although i am not puting down your work or in anyway saying that such work is not needed ... i will only hint at the fact that the models could use some more realistic features...
in a suggestion to you i would take a brake from making "final works" and publishing them... and focus on your ability and skillls for as such is the foundation and hense the quality of your models... look at a toturial or two ... websites either found in the maya reference ... or if you are using blender ... look up tutorialized.com ... these are great rescources to fix up your skills and to improve your ablities as a modeler...
Also id like to make a note on the content of your models... although ducks and fish and the sort are good if you are making a zoo ... this is not very usefull if you are merely looking for a model to be transMap ... across map ... basically the models you create have one purpose for one type of map ... and have no ablity to change or form.... to others maps...
look at your mmodels... all of these .... at least the fair majority have the ability to be used on many map ... and as such u should strive for the same quaility in your models ... not only so that they look cool but also so that they have some purpose to the rest of quad...
an idea... u may as an expirement.... change the sp monsters.... this would help improve your animation and your detailing skillls... also ... the sp monsters prety much suck .... :)
