Oops, forgot to mention something.

Could someone help me get rid of the weird rays of light on the walls and floors. From what I can tell, they're coming from the lights behind the grates above the ceiling, If you've downloaded the map you know what I'm talking about.

dont get rid of them. they are the only cool things i see.

This map looks good so far. Don't stop, finish the map. Add more rooms, areas to explore, come up with some more ideas for the map and present it when its finished. =) My one peice of advice would be not to make any dead ends. This is very important because sauerbraten is an extremely fast game and dead ends tend to disrupt gameplay.

hm the design is nice, but yet its only 3 rooms. avoid to create too much corridors, and try to create your own textures with these patterns, to save WTR, in order of making it playable.

also dont create shafts for the lightpatterns, in a real world they spread the direction the sun is, and the sun is never perfectly 90° over your house :P

the skybox wont fit to the light.

try aftas/sky/orbe , it fits way better

you can get rid of the weird light bar when you move your map a bit upwards,
this happens when you detail all except the floor and place size 0 lights then,

Just so you know, the shafts for the light patterns were there so it would create a surreal effect as the light shines through at a perfect 90 degree angle, but I could probably create the same effect with a size zero light.
