This isn't newbie. This is just.. really newbie. Um, I made about 20 or so 'maps' before I submitted one to Quadropolis. Thats how you improve. And avoid severe criticism.

These maps make Quadropolis look less impressive. By all means Terrorist, keep mapping, but don't submit something until it is remotely acceptable.

This is intresting, aardappel on his site has a page with screenshots of some of the worst and saddest Quake maps. Sadly alot of them remind me of maps on Quadropolis.

I'll give you credit on your first try. But try to be more creative. It's a mess.

Atleast you know how to change textures, use teleports, and create water. Learn how to place items and give the map a theme. All this looks like to me is a pit with teleports the the bottoms and some watery stuff.

I think you had an interesting approach with this map. I believe it has quite a bit of creativity in it. But you need to learn how to use the creativity in a way that would have both eye appeal, and gameplay. For example, those water pools in the upper level, sure its a pretty cool idea when you think about it, but its just not a very good idea for the gameplay in this game.

Keep it up! it should be interesting onto what you put out next.

These are the kind of tests one runs when learning, but do not release since gameplay and graphical detail aren't decent.

Passa has a point. You do submit very crappy maps in like 2 days apart. Your last map was rediculous.
