Detailed description

Take a weird day for around town, be a giant and have fun exploring a town (which isnt really finished)

I'm not really done with it, most people must have been seeing me around multiplayer, but i never really had time to finish it, anyway, its still in progress, i might remake it later because it looks like a mess.

Well, I really like it. I love the Red Alert 2 referance. It does make my computer lag a lot. Maybe a smaller, more optimized version?

This marks the day I can no longer rant about the limitations of the engine - it just takes work to bring it out. This is really well done. Some buildings actually look quite good, even at their limited size. I might even use one of the buildings (as mere inspiration) for my maps.

I'm hoping you also develop playable maps because you have an artist's touch.

It's a shame this is so small and laggy (not for me, but anyways), but a large part of this IS its size - if it were bigger, the impact would be less.

Nice ironic tag at the top by the way, describing the map as superscalar.. lol

8/10 as an artistic map obviously.. It's not done yet though.

I should add: fix the packaging. It should be in a zip.

please label the .zip as the map's name next time. it really helps know what's what.

Very neat visually and creatively but, as mentioned, not playable at all. The detail work is quite amazing and there are tons of little things to discover wandering about the map.

Through a bit of scaling, and against my computer's will, I was able to create a recursive effect:

Even when a map is tagged as artistic, it usually can be played in some manner, even if the gameplay sucks.

My rating, 6/10, was based on the quality of the map artistically and creatively, not taking that point into account. Although there are tons of little details and the map is quite amazing the first time you see it, it just does not look that good and I feel it just does not have enough longterm value, despite being somewhat memorable for its small scale.

Just for giggles I enlarged this to "Normal" size and did a Calclight 1. Took a long time and has an ond of over 1 million, but I think it's awesome. I hope you don't mind me linking to this, Snowy, I claim no ownership what-so-ever, I'm just donating the time it took to light it. http://bit.ly/aCqA9P EDIT: for some reason the ond is only 370k after lighting, I remipped several times prior to processing it but didn't notice the reduction until after I posted it. So better news for sauer players with older systems. (or on windows xD)

copy what you want, enlarge the cube gridsize and paste right back. you have resized geometry, woho >.>

it looks q1-ish because geom is very simple, for very small geom.
