i personally prefer html because you can also set height width etc of images.
also there is a "hidden" info about what tags are possible
(input format)

Allowed HTML tags: <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <em> <strong> <code> <del> <blockquote> <q> <sub> <p> <br> <pre> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd> <a> <b> <u> <i> <sup> <tt> <hr> <img>

h3-6 = header (bigger font) strong = b (big/fat) code = snippets of code
del = stroked tex sub = sub sup = supped text like ²³ etc

ul, ol, = lists , li = list element.. a = link u = underlined
i =kurisve , img = image well its not that hard but bb code would be more user friendly

BB codes are nice for simplicity's sake, html for features.

Why not default to bb and give options to use html?

It would be nice if we would upgrade from are 90's formating (hard code html) to an easy button system (like every other forum). But i dont realy use most of these commands alot, besides a (hyperlink) so i really dont think that its that big of a deal, but if the admins were going to upgrade the website this would be a nice feature. :)

Razgriz, when posting a comment click the "Input Format" button at the bottom of the text box. From there you can open More information about formatting options. All you would need is there. There may not be any buttons for it, but it can still be done.
