Detailed description

A rich baaul got some of his ogro workers to build him a large warehouse. But when he left the server, they all got high on quads, and started building stuff randomly. When the baaul reconnected to the server, he discovered the 'warehouse' he wanted built was not suitable for storage at all. He was furious and TKed all the ogros. Then he realised that the 'warehouse' was perfect for deathmatching. Hence it was renamed Passa's Great Deathmatch. Then he uploaded it to Quadropolis.

NOTE
This map is in the latest release with an updated version (changed lighting, quad placement change and removed upper roof area with slightly different architexture)

A small, simple layout DM map. Its ok for FFA and pretty good for instagib. Suitable for 2-6 players. And please leave comments, don't just rate :)

Your map is very well done, and I like your detailed description ;D!
However there's a little problem that I didn't like - I saw a jumppad
with an "egyptian" texture, showing a red cross on a .... I think it was
grey background. It didn't really fit to the environment.

Otherwise it's perfect!

You´re improving :)
It´s okay, the detailing works pretty good actually. Overall it looks nice and shows style, I like the texturing (I like the brownish ones)

Always hard to see on screenshots. What I´d suggest is to noclip the details on the walls (lower corridor mostly), there are some cases you can get stuck when you jump up close to a wall.
And while playing, you don´t always have the time to mind not being too close.

Real nice, real real nice, i like it alot.

I can't really say something negative about, but I'll try xD

Negative:
- The quad is in a really easy place to get. This item should be hard to get, and probably risking your life getting it, or having it totally hidden.
- The main huge room looks a little too cubic, but doesn't really affect the looks on it.
- I think that there are very few ammunitions for the size of the map.

Positive:
- Excelent texture handling, you combined textures that match each other and placed 'em really nice.
- There are little details everywhere that I love.
- Looks like it could have good gameplay, big and simple.

Keep up this good work.

I don't think there is to few ammo. It spawns very fast and everybody has the grenades which is a weapon that fits this kind of 'building' (IMHO). ;)

The map looks good and maybe has some fast and simple oldskool gameplay. Only layout is a bit boring.
And yes, the quad's position isn't the best...
But I like the map. :)

Ick, I hate hidden quads. Yes, the quad should be hard to get, but never hidden. This is a deathmatch, not trivial pursuit. Victory should not go to the dork who studies maps before he plays them. Make it hard to get and hard to control, but _not_ hidden.

I am improving I think, hopefully my next map will be release quality :D
Its all about improvement!

Could I possibly have more detailed negative aspects? I need to know so my next map is better :)

RatBoy: Hmm I actually thought there was too much ammo.. but I haven't actually tested the map with players so I can't be sure :)

I like this map, especially the light brown/yellow lighting. However I agree that the quad is too easily reachable, but that isn't something that will absolutely kill gameplay. The floor on the quad side also looks a bit... odd, maybe too white, but I think that is just be me. ;P
