Texturing is flat and undetailed, especially on the walls. The lighting is way too dark, even considering it is moonlight.

i think its perfect to a extent. the lighting is perfect fo what it is because the moon is covered by clouds.
i love the complementary colors you used. (the blue and yellow) it was just an amazing touch.
the layout is vary entertaining. and it never gets boring in my eyes.
i give it a 5/5.

the license link in the readme is wrong, you actually used the whole banner leading to the license. select your license again, and when CC generates it, look for a link on the right to export the license in text.

Now to the map:
A very impressive map from you kretren. I think all the pros of the map are self explanatory so i'll just skip to the cons as i usually do. They're not much but ti think it would make the map more "correct"

The rain has some properties you should follow, judging from the industrial look the map has, i'd lower the water fog to make the water more shallow, and also darken it a bit (you might also want to show that its a bit filthy by changing its colour slightly). Also you might consider lowering waterspec to 10 or less to show the shallowness of the water and to reinforce the fact that the map is dark and that it's moon has been covered by clouds

Last, i think you should change the yellow colour of the base to a more redish variation, maybe a light orange or something.

This map gets 5/5 from me, i love the lighting. Anyone who says its too dark should have his options changed.. or play day maps!

And Quin, i'd like to hear your opinion on the map that explains your vote :)

Is the ambient really supposed to be at 70? The map looks completely washed out and very ugly with this setting, at least on my screen. (Maybe I am to blame here, did ambient change in some way) Just a quick recalc at 20 without any other changes made the map look 100 times better for me.

The texturing could use a lot of work, everything is just too repetitive right now. Adding some smaller detail textures onto the large surfaces would really improve the map. This could be 'logos', control panels, structural supports, anything to interrupt those huge chunks of geometry that have just one texture.

The additional lighting colors are nice, but the map still feels very bland in many places because of how uniform the color scheme is. It is desolate and dull, but not in a good way.

I feel that the gameplay makes this map worth improving.

I'll try to explain myself for some of these things you guys mention.

First off, the lighting: This was a nighttime map, and my first one at that. I didn't want to jeapordize the natural shadows cast by the skylight I put in, and so I went stingy on other atmosphere lights. Honestly I don't know how to improve the lighting without tinkering with the ambient level (which I did, and it's at 70 now. I may try 20 as you suggested but that would make the map darker, which others criticize the map for now).

The texturing: Yeah, I will improve that a bit. I don't want the map to be too gimicky and random though, and that's why I kept it simple where possible, and detailed only when necessary: I detailed the walls that are immediate to the player, while keeping large, tall walls simple. I will continue to work on them though, as I agree they could use work.

The yellow/blue color scheme was my attempt to stray from the standard red/blue one. You see a lot of maps with one side blue, the other red. So that's why I used yellow. I may tinker with the color to make it orange-ish, but personally I prefer yellow/blue as it's different :P

The water I will definitely improve. I neglected to change the technical details of the water. In fact I believe I copied the .cfg settings for water from core_transfer, since it has green-ish water. I may be wrong, but either way that's something I'll work out.

I'll fix the license too. Again, it was copied from core_transfer.. So clearly I have to fix it in two places :P

And finally the details.. I plan to improve that but the map size is already pretty big so I don't know how it can afford to be more detailed. I play of a pretty strong computer and it runs absolutely fine, but on people with lower-end computers I think this map already pushes it.

The problem is that I've been working on this map for so long it's become what I envisioned, and I can't see it in any other way. I will have to delete entire areas and start from scratch to make them better. I just need a break from this map though lol.

Soo I have a lot to improve, evidently. I'll get on it. Thanks for the posts thus far, and I hope to hear criticisms from others (lookin at you, Quin!)

interesting map, the theme seems a bit similar to reissen...
the geometry seems to be good and texturing isnt bad to.
the lightning is really bad, just because of the ambient. plz just put it to 20 (like sum1 else above here said). and make the map at some places more brighter.
the flow could be better to. when u jump out of the ventilationshafts, u bump easily 2 the next shaft. at some places, at my opinion, its a bit 2 open and not much cover places (so i think some paths should be a bit more narrow).
the gameplay, isnt bad, but i get the feeling theres not much pickups with that wide paths (those paths could be to increase the numbers of players?).
u seems to went wild with clipping and noclipping. i think its sometimes a bit 2 much clipped (players needs some freedom :P!).

further, the map seems to be nice :D!

I dislike maps like this. Flow is too open and boring. Routes between flags are too long. Weapon placement is poor. Not to mention poor texturing and lighting.

You mixed a few Styless... not themes but styles..

youve got industry-like vents, chimneys, but also these tubes, and moving textures.
and i think someone already said, it looks similar to reissen, but reissen is more "clear".

the rain is also a bit too gimmicky in my opinion.
but i still think this map deserves 4~.
the layout is nice, but could be better,
at some points youre not able to jump from platform to platform
