interresting map, it looks very similar at other maps u made be4.
the geometry is nice, nothing 2 say about.
the lightning is good either. but u miss lightsources at some places. as example, i really wouldnt know where the light comes from at the walls behind
the flags (it looks nice, but just add some lightsource, that would make it more realstic and logical).
texturing is less good at my opinion, because some textures doesnt actualy "fit". but i like the textureblended hills.
detailing is very nice, but i dont c the logical about the odd lookin stairs of the platform where a teledest is putted on to. (i actualy could take as example for my opinion about texturing, that platform)
the flow is nice to.
im really worried about the gameplay, because its actualy just a mirrored map. both sides r (almost) exactly the same, what is actualy pretty bad.
another thing is that the map is very open, what makes it camper's paradise. there r actualy 2 ways to get the opponent's flag (1 way exists out of 2 subways) and they r even exactly 180 degrees at each other. that would make it even easier 2 play "camp on the flag", and not "capture the flag".
further ive read some1 else's comment, and u react that its not possible 2 kill from 1 base to the other. Thats not true, plz go check 4 urself. im able 2 kill other players from ur own base, while they r at their own base, with rifle.
i agree kretren that capture isnt very well for this map, because its symetrical and exists only out of 4 bases. even tough those "holes" with water in it r getting used 2 show where bases r positioned, it doesnt makes sense at all to the rest of the map.
the pickups are not bad placed, but sometimes they arent very well. an example is like there r 6 pickups (2 riflerounds, 2 bullets, 2 shels) at the flag unbelieveble close 2 each other. maybe a good suggestion to clip the walls behind the flag to, because u get stuck in them easily.
btw, please check (no)clipping, because its possible 2 have a almost perfect camping spot on ur own flag, by using those bars that r (clipped) attached to those pillars.
the skybox is nice 2. pretty original with those balloons.
can i ask, why u took the name "plop"? is there any sense in it?
btw, i actualy agree kretren, i dont c the sense to that railroad to (or if the railroad is actualy part of the theme in the map, then i dont c the logical of the structure of those bases), even tough it looks nice.
seems to still have a lot of work to improve.
anyways, keep it up! nice map, ill give 69 points for it.
