-Hopelessly symmetrical and that can be disorienting sometimes. There was water originally on one side but I took it out because it caused a hit on the Frames/Sec and added nothing to the gameplay.
-A bit too cramped in some places but it was an attempt to balance out the openness of the middle area.
-There is only 1 team-spawnpoint.
-There are still a few things that could be clipped but nothing serious that i could find.
-The orange/purple crates seem a bit cartoony/out of place next to the other textures.
-I didn't know how to do decals so i cheated.
-There is almost a line of sight between the two bases(good or bad IDK).
-Ammo gets very sparse if there are more than 10 players.
-There are no bases for BaseCapture mode because I never play that mode; if someone else wants to add them it may make a fun Capture map.
-I used the default skybox, but i thought it fit nicely.

Appart from that a fantastic attempt for a map. I like the left-for-dead scenario and I definately like the dirty smudgy texturing you've achieved.

Here we go with the criticism :)

- Make more lights. Set the general lighting darker, the skybox to black and some spotlights @ the platform and wall texture to make them stand out. You'll see, it will give the whole thing a totally new feeling to it.

- You are right, it is to cramped! Less boxes, bigger room. Wont look so bad if the rooms big with a little bit of details such as command desks or some random bs ;) Put the boxes together in piles. It will give it a good touch and enough space for runnning/dodging/strafing.

- The outer parts like the half circle stairs where you start (I think) seem sorta empty and deadended. Im aware that that's because its where it starts, but it would still be nice to be able to go two ways from the start point and not be campfragged as soon as u hold ur head outa that doorframe ;)

- Put some colored water in there! Make it a yucky olive green, as if the water's been resting there for quiet some time. Perhaps at certain areas some grass texturing to symbollise older decay. Might add a smooth touch to this ;)

Just a few ideas. General Layout is cool, but needs a little bit more space. And add a more circular gameflow to it. Then We might be looking at quiet a few stars ;)

I like this map idea. I definitely get the feeling and mood you are trying to achieve in this map, and, like K1P said, it would really add a lot to the map by setting a darker theme with more vivid lighting. Also, add more spawns and widen some of the areas like the box rooms and the areas back by the pipe-tunnel The map may need a bit more detail, such as different wall trim and such.
I really think this map has some potential. Keep it up and good luck! ;D

Wow, this map feels just like an old Half-Life or Counter-Strike 1.6 map. I don't know if that was intentional or not (or if there's a simple reason, like you were playing a lot of one or the other before making this map), but the resemblance is uncanny.
If you can, I'd suggest trying to channel it even more.

On the map itself, I'd definitely increase the lighting contrast. It's pretty boring as-is.

The texturing is pretty good, though you use some textures where the tiling is painfully obvious (look at the top-right section of the screenshot for what I'm referring to). In other places, the textures don't quite fit, or you mix texture sets (i.e. the shipping container). At the bottom-most floor, you use some of the oldest textures, and there's zero detail work. (You may want to rethink the tunnels, as well.)

The layout's pretty good, though cramped in places. (The placement of the shipping container is rather strange, as well. Maybe make it a tunnel through crates, like this? (Of course, you'd want to put ammo or something inside the container. Maybe ammo in, health on?)
In addition, the central, open areas are pretty boring. Maybe a catwalk?

Last, at the edges, where you hear water running, there's... no water. Not sure what to think.

Oh, and for those of us with underpowered graphics drivers, it'd help if you generated PVS data with /genpvs. (That could take some time, by the way.) :)
