i might be asking an unnecessary thing, but isn't there any other texture to use instead of the dessert sand? it really doesn't fit the map.

Im a personal fan of urban usage of textures and such, therefor you'll already get a 5 for texturing! The cranes are awesome too hehe

I love the amount of little details oyu put in your maps, such as that you'll need a rocket jump to reach the quad and such ;)

The circular movement is great in this map this time! No more dead ends and such! Wheapon placement is well balanced too, harder wheapons you'll need to jump for. No simple run and load, thumbs up!

the whole lighting and ambient of the map is great too! Gameplay as well as the artistic approach on this map will earn you a 5 from me.

(Edit: Oh yeah I just noticed you did those jumppads again... Why? ;) You put so much detail in everything on the map and then u make a brown round thingie... I mean You get that it's a jumppad, and the effect with the concrete stripe where the jumpp goes up is nice, but whyyy the simple jumppad?? You've even got nice artistic little thingies under the ammo and the armour and such :)... That's the only negative part me thinks ;) )

Your maps are very interesting, especially concerning aesthetics. My only complaint is that you can't enter any of the buildings, therefore the gameplay gets a little constrained (as on Duel7, with that amazing castle which I'd love to be able to visit). The cranes are wonderfully detailed, however I'd remove (or shorten) one of them, as they almost intersect creating an effect rather unpleasant and invasive.

Apart from that, I share K1P57A's remarks.

I was looking forward to checking out this map as soon as I saw it.. You are one of my favorite mappers I hope you know. And yeah you keep getting better and better.

This map is incredible. The details are perfect actually. You've managed to cram so many things into a small space without making it look crammed. The underground sewage tunnel looks great. The broken bricks look cool and are actually functional in one part (hint). The cement pillars with metal bars sticking out look really.. real. The cranes make this whole thing look endless as do the skyscrapers. This is atmosphere by definition. This is art. I don't even care if it's playable.. It's that good-looking. The vents look perfect. The particles actually look real. There are details put in the windows even, what with curving them... And you didn't cheap out on the cranes either. I don't know how long this would have taken but it doesn't look rushed in the least. I will wager you spent hours running around in the map thinking of what else you could put in to make it gorgeous..

There are actually two things I can suggest changing. The cranes are a little.. intersecting, I agree. I'd shorten one of them but don't remove one. Maybe even consider moving it back so it doesn't get so close.

The other thing (trivial) is the 'broken' tiles on the ground. You have a different texture on the sides than on the top so it looks a little weird. Consider making that uniform.

Actually another thing, maybe this is too far but instead of the brown things for jumppads you can use the spinning blades? Just a thought.. Since you do use them elsewhere where they don't have a jumppad effect it may be too much. Do change that though.

-Edit: Also change that red roof.. It looks really bad, I didn't notice that before. It would be easiest to make it so it's the same height all the way around, but that would mean either pushing the one building out or putting something on top of the one roof.. Maybe an AC or generator would be cool. Either way, simply for artistic purposes the roof is ugly. I fixed it a little in 30 seconds. I'm a prude like that.

Amazing map! It looks absolutely awesome!

The only thing that's getting at me is the metal trim texture on the arches ( ex, where there green and yellow armor is ) the texture is tiled several times and I think you should put something between the rows. So only use the trim texture as trim, not solid metal.

Either way, Amazing work, and 5 Stars. =D

Great little map, two things in addition to what others have posted. For one, on the curved staircase, the brick texture from the building overlapped alittle on the front side of the bottom two steps. For another, where you can look through the chainlink window, the other side looks much too colorful and happy as compared to the playable area of the map. I suggest making the grass texture to something less-bright green and mabey messing with the lighting a bit, as it is right now, whats on the other side of the window just looks a bit out of place. Otherwise, fantastic mapping job!

the map is fine.
i recognized a small issue:
at the right side of the lower teleporter two doorframes are near to each other because of the corner. if you jump between them (with a gun-jump), you cant get out of it without shooting again. its nothing really important, but id fix that with clipping.
