Detailed description

You start outside a boring building. But when you get inside it, don't go out - instead go all the other ways first.
There you will find ammo, secret entrances and more. When you think you're done - if you're done you should have 30 grenades
in your grenade launcher - go outside using the door. Shoot your grenades to hit the holes, as if you were playing golf!
And you - don't cheat.

A weird ending, 2 monsters. Don't say that's not enough! Play and you'll see. This is my first PUBLISHED map - give me your opinion!

And I know the lightning ain't so good...... :(

Alot of fun to play and explore. I would like to play more holes! The map is a bit stiff, though. The textures could vary more. This map has alot of potential. Very good!

Thank you! I know that the textures could vary more, but the fact is - the Sauerbraten textures are BORING! I've been working with them for about a year and they really start to annoy me. Someone tell me how to import my own textures ... !

What is "stiff"?

I've found a bug in the map. If you look under the trees and plants you'll find ... nothing. That's the problem! There is air under the plants and trees. But please - don't bother ......

When I'm trying to fix it the whole mountain is crushed (can't be fixed).

Someone please send me help about:
- creating triggering devices
- importing textures
- selecting my own music to my map

Hey trojoh, the map looks nice by the screenshot, unfortunately i can't play it yet, something's wrong with the newest version of Sauerbraten! If I load another level, the game crashes (maybe because i'm using my old GeForce 2?)!

Anyway i'm glad you made a golf level, you should try mine :) It's golf paradise and it's here in Quadropolis. Hope I can play this level!

The way you use them - definately. :/
There´s enough and good textures there, if you don´t know how to use them, it´s not the texture set´s fault.
After one year, you should have found out stuff like using textures properly or how to use custom textures. Maybe take a look at the folder called "docs".

So the question should rather be "Someone show me how to texture properly"

BTW, the map´s light is not calculated.

Sorry for sounding harsh, but blaiming the textureset for bad texturing is a bit poor.

btw, you shouldn´t use 8-bit gifs for screenshots. That´s not what gif is for. Jpg does a far better job for images like this.

GIF screenshot: I used GIF just to make it quicker for me to publish,
and to make it fit on the server - Quadropolis does not accept shots
larger than 1 MB, which is the size of the file if the extension is
JPG. And please - I have dial-up - it would take long time to publish
a file in JPG...

Lights: That's because no lights are placed.

Texturing: I want the textures that comes with Transport, for
example, but can't find a way to use them. I'm not talking about
the actual texture set.

Maybe I should say that kind of things to your maps, too?!?

A jpg of 80% quality and the dimensions of this screenshot has exactly 31kb too, just like your gif.
You could bring that down to like 65% and still looking good at ca 15kb.

No lights placed? Why ?

What textures are there that come with transport... oh w8 you mean the skybox. Ok, so why don´t you look at the transport package then? Hint: there´s a file called *.cfg ...

to IMPORT them into my map.

Lights are not placed since I forgot them. But I'm not
so good at lightning, so I shouldn't begin to edit the
map again...

I don't understand the JPG thing. I'm using Microsoft Paintbrush,
and that program doesn't have alot of functions..... ;-)

ok, it was fun to play, although lt_golf_paradise does the whole golf thing better, with more holes, and more intresting ones at that. also lt_golf_paradise has been remipped while yours has not. lt_golf_paradise also has lights, yours is fullbright and looks really bad. also, the end room with the jumppad gave me motion sickness after about 5 tries to get up to the other room, also the end room needs a trigger of some sort to finish the level.

It didn't need a trigger to me. I did just kill the monster there,
and the level was ended. It said: "intermission: game has ended".
Maybe you forgot to kill the paladin?

I know this lightning stuff and hole amounts are bad, but I'm a
beginner... And this wasn't my best work, though.
