uhh have you ever shot/heard a a rifle get shot? the begining is fine, it just needs more of an boom in the middle and end. beyond that, its fine, just for fun i mixed his rifle and the sauer rifle, it sounds a bit more realistic now. XD

But as far as enjoyability goes, realistic is not always the best option.

Case in point, America's Army 3.0.
For the 3.0 release, they spent quite a while on a range, capturing gunshot sounds. I, personally, liked the 2.x sounds better. Even though there weren't as really real, they sounded more real.

It's interesting. Making something sound too real can make it sound more fake than the less real ones. (Uncanny valley, maybe?)

In any case, this sound definitely needs a bass boost.
