I very much like this map, It reminds me of the map in unreal tournament called Asbestos for some odd reason. Its got a great theme to it, the only thing I think should be tuned is the exposed rock surfaces, as I believe they should be just slightly rough on the outside rather than flat. The floor also looks kind of bland in some places and could use a metallic edge to it, so it doesn't just stop. Thats my 5 cents, I hope to see updates. =)

a critic points:

-some of the bases are in the air, plz fix this.
-the ways between the bases are to long in my oppinion.

K I may as well say, this is art. The layout, the concept, the textures (not often, or at all, do I see the texture you used for the crossbars) are all great. I'm not sure if the use of the bars has been done, at least to the quality it is here..

That said, you might consider changing up the Gibbie textures for something dirtier, more mechanical. The crossbars look industrial, and combined with the perfect, blocky, almost perfect Gibbie textures it's clashing somewhat.

Also, the 'deathpit' is a little awkward. Of course if you fall in, you die, but what if you land on that bar sticking out? You'd think you could escape at that point but there's no way unless you rocket jump (or rifle jump, but I never tried that). Grenades won't work because it's not a flat surface and they get launched away... Yep

Also I agree, the rocks could be more.. rocky. And even though you're trying to limit the actual mapsize to that block you've designed, you may consider extending the rocks where one can look into the sky and maybe put a tower up there, just to add depth. OR A CRANE! (not the bird).

Also maybe make the pipes bumpy, you know, so they aren't just a flat wall of pipes.. That kinda broke the 'illusion' for me.

Overall though the layout's fine. It's logical which is good (no jumppads or teleporters because the map's founded in 'reality').

Anyways, 4/5. Change the textures (although most people won't mind.. You'll find a huge change in theme though) and maybe that bar sticking out so one with a fast hand on WASD can actually fall onto the bar and escape the deathpit.

With the previous version of the map, the rock strike me but I somewhat felt it was OK. But now, the pit is so large that the texture seems to repeat itself. You may solve this problem with 3 lights instead of one, placed without symetrie (or by making the rock pit irregular, more or less 10 k triangle won't kill the map). So only the difuse would seems to repeat, not the shaders. BtW, I tried to calclight, and it is astonishingly slow!
I guess it relates to another problem: the cube engine use too much triangles to render those bars...

There are already bumpy, but not everywhere (higher parts had been forgotten). Kaiser, you may consider to hide the bottom of those pipes in a hole, it would make the transition between them and their surrounding less straight.

Looking better. Actually target, when I commented the pipes were not bumpy, he must have changed them after ;P

Interesting idea on the deathpit. Now it serves to access all the levels which is pretty cool. Plus only a person with low fps or epilepsy would actually fall down it now because if they fell, another bar would save them.

Target did you mean he should put the pipes into a 'hole' where they go into the ground at ramps and therefore cannot be bumpy? Because if so, I agree that's a good idea. If not, I'm suggesting it ;)

I'm not sure if he needs more lights in the deathpit, but making the ground texture more bumpy in the area would improve it. Right now it looks too perfect and the tiled texture looks obvious and repetitive.

This is starting to remind me of fanatic_quake in the textures and many levels. I think the gameplay would be pretty interesting.

You also have clip missing here. While this is not an issue in itself, it's inconsistent with the rest of the map where clip is present between support beams.

unbelieveble nice map :D!
the lightning, is soft and natural. giving a nice feeling when ur runing around.
the geometry, is cool to, but u should put a bit more in those rock walls, u made paradiselost to so u can add some of that into this map :P.
gameplay, the flow is amazing :D! only 1 problem, assasin has been removed at trooper edition D:! the pickups r nice placed to :D!
the texturing, i the texture u used for those diagonal ramps, cause the map overall gots a industrial theme and those "brick-texture" isnt helping much with that (so maybe u should replace it :P).
the detailing is gr8 to. i really like those steel support bars :D!

Mayve the map need more weapon... But very nice map ;)
