I like the overall theme to it and such, i was still a bit lost & confused at some points with the layout, however, its definitely less confusing than the original version that me and a few others tried. I overall think it's a good map though, but will probably be a bit confusing for noobs though, also, I'm sure that anyone that doesn't like your similar map, Duomo, they definitely isn't going to like this one, however, I personally like Duomo quite a bit, so I definitely like this map :) Anyways, 4/5 for me, as it took me a while to figure out how to get from one end, to the other, but, that's probably just my stupidity :D

The overall look of this map is simply amazing, from the trippy-as-hell skybox to the fragmented space colony-esque asthetic of the actual playable areas, it's very well done. The little story blurb suits it well, and I applaud adding more to a map than simply "here is a place where you kill people, have fun", so that alone gets some credit from me. The whole map kinda reminds me of one map from Metroid Prime Hunters. Can't remember which, though...

Though i must admit that i'm possibly the wrong one to rate this map, because i never was too much into platform stuff ;)

So, what can i say ? The idea you had is great, i also loved the introduction story. Good idea too with the particles texture that is passing by under the map. The layout for my taste is a bit, err..., very confusing, but that's just a matter of how often one plays it, i guess. Well powered jumppads btw.

The textures...well i never got used to these textures (their colours), especially the floor texture (the one in your very right mini screenshot), so i rather say nothing more about them, except that the textures and skybox are sometimes looking same, there is not enough contrast so it's even more confusing, at least for my taste (same colours, and the skybox is a bit "full" - but i think that's how it looks like when there is such a huge explosion ? ;)

As far as i can tell, there is no place where one can get stuck, and you even didn't use any clip/noclip material :)

So...in short, i'll give you 3/5 for this map :D

even though the layout is definitely platform,
your geometry doesn't make the best use of this.
For example the edges where you've got to jump on to see over,
couldn't access be smoother and less hazardous?

The texture/geometry interplay concering your floor-lights and jumppads could use refining IMHO,
also maybe an elaborate colour-scheme for the platforms so one doesn't feel so lost on spawn ;)
Something that'll differentiate one platform from the other,
and improve the visibility and the access to it from one to the other -
so far you feel like you mostly transport from one room into the other ..
.. and then there's some jumppads for slower transition, or what??!
