good map, and it has obvious work put into it. i especially liked the random cubes of glass on the ground. I know there was a broken window so it makes sense but they look like ice cubes lol.

one thing though: how the hell do you get to the quad? I looked at that for the longest time and there's a teleport to get back into the map, but the path to it is clipped and there's no teledest leading in, or teleport leading in. Nor is there a noclipped wall to walk through so the question is, did you mess up on that or is it meant to just confuse people?

The quad is only reachable through my easter egg. muhahaha. >:D

demonmoooseguy, you've done really big work on this map. It runs pretty fast on my (not so new) machine.
Texture work is excellent. I hasn't noticed any mistakes or unsuitable textures. Illumination work is done well, too.
Map is playable for 3...8 players, clippings are correct for the most of map, but in some places few things should be clipped yet, cuz they may cause confusion for the moment.
Geometry is pretty nice: not so simple, but have a small amount of unnecessary things.

I've just downloaded and tested your map, and I'm amazed by the details: the drinks dispenser, the cash register, the broken glass, the wrecked doors and the garage ramp are outstanding. Anybody can see the accuracy you've put on your work, despite the obvious limitations due to the cubic geometry. I also like the overall look of the map, the snowy theme fits well with the buildings. Very good job! :)

sorry: I didn't know that you weren't aware about brushes. They are useful tools to be used in heightmap mode.

Here's a quick explanation from MeatROme's article at WikiSpaces:

Heightfield

1. Convert your current selection to a heightfield by pressing H,
2. Then scroll your mouse with J pressed to select your desired brush.
3. Now move over your selection and roll your mouse as usual for geometry manipulation.
4. Now you're manipulating the heightfield with your selected brush :)
5. If you press H again it will smooth your current selection.
