The screenshot sorta lives up to the name, this node will only get poor results with poor presentation. Try making the lighting more influential over the feel of the level (probably make it darker and more ambient) and use /showmat 0 before taking a screenshot in editmode at the very least.

This was bad in production, and still pretty bad now...

Not that good man.. The architecture is really basic, the quad is impossible to get + outside the whole game (wth?), I originally thought there was no lighting at all but there was, it just wasn't done to look natural... There's other stuff but w/e

Keep at it, but this map is a lost cause I think.
