Detailed description

This is another simple Quake textured map for a small 1-4 player game.

I'm hoping this will make it in the upcoming release on the 15th, so let me know if there are any basic improvements that need to be made!

Requires the latest CVS release. Unzip to your packages\base folder, and load it from the console as: /map fanatic_quake2

Hmm another Fanatic Quake map? Too bad I don't have CVS so I can't check it out but I bet this will make it into the release just like the first did. It might be even better than the first =D Then again I can't look at it so I could be wrong =(

The map looks nice, in some parts even better as the first quake map from you. But especially in the central room it seemed a bit too dark.
And I'm not sure about all the quite long and narrow hallways you put in. This was a point eihrul made in one of his posts in the cubeengine forums.

There are basically 3 narrow hallways, and on purpose. :)

One which is basically a T shaped hallway to join the main center area and the two middle level rooms. It's not terribly long.

The other is the one with the vents and smoke. There is a specific reason for that - the health boost. It's supposed to be dangerous to go through there, like a gauntlet hallway.

The last is the L shaped one that wraps around the lowest water room. That is meant as a snipers area, and a dangerous access point to a health boost that sits in the exit hole at the far end.
