I'll consider of making an other screenshot at the next release of this map.
With toggle outline on (key "7"), I clearly see that I use mostly 6 and 5 sized cube (2 is the most little, curently , June 12th ;) ) Size 6 is used in map like ph capture and it doesn't seem very natural, IMHO. This size is also use in FB capture. Both are quite old, I remember I played on it when there were only 6 or 7* maps on capture mod. In the other hand, Relic, a more recent one, use size 4 cube for most of it "natural" geometry, and the map oasis use a size 3! So I'm not convinced that I should remake all with a level less. And I tried too avoid a lot of flat bit too.
I know the trick that consist of use clip and noclip too keep the move smooth, but I don't think it's very usefull here. All the edge are slighly rounded, and I don't understand what a perfectly cubic clip would improve... Moreover, I didn't snag on any edge in this map.
Concerning the underwater part, I may remake it more open. I need playtests... But the water slow the move, but open totally the z axis (jump still works), that would finally result in a huge drop of life expectancy anyway. Then I'm not convinced that a lot of space is needed, and I prefered to put some kind of cover that actually reduce the space available...
