Like i said its still a WIP and its not even close to being finished. So are you saying that you dont like that you have to rifle-jump to get onto the high platforms? This will be a CTF map when im done. I meant to make it like that so that its harder to get from side to side. If u dont like it i can change it. And yes more stuff will be added to the ground; it was the last thing i made and i ran out of time last night.

Yeh i did have the teleports closer to the middle but it made it too easy to get from side to side. Then i moved them toward the back which does make it hard to find. Ill try to think of something to indicate where to go after you fall.

The position is not bad. Perhaps make a second one on the other half. But give the player some hints or signs so you don't have to search long if you are new on the map.

The person who rated it like a 1 or something. It was a 4.8 and it went down to a 4.3 in one vote. If you dont like the map that much explain why.

Uh, well you can't do that. The voting process is anonymous for a reason, it's a secret ballot like elections. People are free to vote without explaining why or revealing themselves, which results in truly honest answers.

Your map is fine, it just isn't great like some. Is there something you didn't learn from making it? The idea is to take what you learned and make a new, better map, isn't it?

yes but if the person voted so low then they should say whats wrong with it or not vote at all. i cant know what they think is wrong with it if they dont comment about it. they dont have to tell me what they voted the map. i dont even care about that, i just want to know what i can improve. and my guess is that this person didnt like the map at all, they can at least comment on one thing i can improve on.

Yes, I agree - they should.
But we can't force anyone.

Anyway, this might only be loosely related to the person actually "hating" your map .. I know of a number of people (myself included) that regularly re-evaluate nodes through their own vote.
If I see a node that has a rating I don't think it deserves I will modify my own vote to compensate.

And - it could also just be that even though the person thought your map was terrible (which I don't) he/she might not want to have posted to not hurt your feelings. It can sometimes be hard to keep criticism constructive or even free of abuse .. so .. sometimes .. better not to say anything out loud but just leave your opinion anonymously in the vote.
