Detailed description

A large, "Junglish" map. When completed, it will be primarily a SP map, however CTF will be added, perhaps. Please leave advice, as this is my first large map project (i.e spent over 20 hours on it already) and I want to start my mapping on a good one. Currently at about 30% completion, although gives a general idea of what the finished product will be like.

must have been a lot of work. It didn't really give me the feeling that I
was in the jungle. Though that's probably because it's not done. (: I did notice all the trees are about the same hight. It would be nice if they were different in hight. I like your ideas but I would recomend BRUSHING the rock. what exactly are you putting behind that huge wall with windows
at one end? Looks like a fort. That would be pretty sweet if you were to fill that up with detail. ( : I think it'd be great if you filled the
valley up with foliage. Do they have vine mappmodels? Sorry if my thinking is a bit jumbled,I making this up as I go.

Great map! nothing much right now, but lots of potential.

oh yeah, one more thing, that random road block way up on the cliff side made no sense. What exactly are you planning?

Great advice... kinda along the lines of what I was criticizing myself. I am going to make quite a few more smaller models to fill in the ground level. The "huge wall with windows" is meant to be a dam... I didn't want the map to seem to symmetrical or unoriginal, so i decided to start and finish the valley in different ways. Same goes for the roadblock. There is going to be a rough storyline behind it. As for mapmodels... I wanted to create a map with as fey map models as possible, however seeing as the cliff face is quite flat (i.e it does not extrude past a certain point) it would be pretty easy to add in vines that look realistic enough from ground level, and would be to hard to look at for very long from the top.

Wow this looks interesting. Nice trees. is there a way to get smaller gridsize? Very neat concept!
