1) You obtain a wooden texture because, appear you, I lacquered the Egyptian parquet (the wooden texture) by adding to it spec and chrom (env). Look the last screenshot !

"To use this pack of textures, you must add at the end of the file "data/default_map_settings.cfg" the code of inclusion of the set which you wish to use : For colored tiles : - Mat : exec packages/textures/colored_tiles/package_mat.cfg ..."

Who is not clear in these explanations ??? Why do you try to put these commands in another file than that specified ("default_map_settings.cfg" ???

It isnt a real mirror in which you can watch dancing under bullets ! That reflects only the environment of the map, via a particle "env" which calculates a "envmap". In other words, that will reflect walls and mapmodels, but not players and their weapons/bullets.

These particles generate environmental maps which work a little as skymaps. That is creat a kind of photography in 360°x360° of the environment which surrounds them. Then, this environment can be used by textures and mapmodels to create reflections of this "env map".

As explained in the official documentation, you should not deceive "envmap" because they use many resources. It packages is not thus made for noobs : it is necessary to be a minimum experimented in maping and indeed to understand that we are spirit to make !

note that if you have 3 walls ||| and place an envmap between |o||, the glass on the third wall to the right would reflect that, giving a "false" reflection. be wary of that

if you actually would make a good content, then you should make it newcomer friendly...

The PSD file is a Adobe Photoshop file for makers who want modify one color. Those who know this format will know what to make it and the others can make nothing, thus, I did not put explanations in this subject.
